  Organising collective intelligence

One of the principal imperatives for the next few years will be to mobilise collective intelligence and knowledge. The challenge lies in our capacity to make it more efficient, better organised and more reactive than isolated or individual skills or intelligence within the group.

Can collaborative results improve on the input produced by a single individual?

We will also subsequently need to verify whether we have installed within the company the systems that will be necessary for co-ordinating and organising this intelligence and/or these skills.

Simply by asking the question, we are already in fact offering an initial response. Without installing specific tools, reinforcing existing links and building bridges between the different individuals involved (employees, suppliers, partners, clients, etc…) the impact could be the inverse of what is hoped for. We all see on a daily basis that decision-making circuits are becoming increasingly complex, and that the need to take specific aspects into account is very often the determining factor in an action’s success.

The principal objective of videoconferencing and collaborative solutions is to guarantee the quality of exchanges, increase their frequency and, in more general terms, simply improve the flow of information.
